Internationally renowned singer and actor, Michael Cormick, is thrilled to present Michael Cormick sings Bacharach.
The late, great American composer Burt Bacharach was one of the most important, influential and beloved artists in 20th century popular music. Often in collaboration with lyricist Hal David, Bacharach composed hundreds of pop songs, including an astonishing 52 Top 40 hits.
Michael, together with his band, will perform classic Bacharach songs made famous by stars such as Dionne Warwick, The Carpenters and Dusty Springfield – songs such as I'll Never Fall in Love Again, Say a Little Prayer, Close to You, What the World Needs Now, Do You Know the Way to San Jose? and There's Always Something There to Remind Me.
Michael has enjoyed a diverse career throughout Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe. He has played lead roles in shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Grease, Sunset Boulevard, The Rocky Horror Show, Mamma Mia!, Annie, Cabaret and Jesus Christ Superstar.
