About the show
Ave Maria College proudly presents: School of Rock the Musical.
Based on the hit 2003 film, School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a down-on-his-luck rocker who bluffs his way into a substitute teaching job at an elite prep school. When he discovers his students’ hidden musical talents, Dewey transforms the straight-A class into a high-voltage rock band while keeping his true identity secret from the school’s uptight headmistress and suspicious parents.
Featuring a hard-rocking musical score written by musical theatre giant, Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Glenn Slater, this incredible theatrical experience brought to life by over 80 students from Ave Maria College will have you wanting to join the band and 'Stick it to the Man'!
