Ignite & Create Residency
Have you got a creative project you're keen to hone and develop in a professional space?
The Clocktower Centre's Ignite and Create Residency program aims to support and foster creative work, develop arts practice and advance professional development. Additionally, we aim to facilitate access for our community to a wide range of art and cultural services. The program aims to support the development of performing arts projects by providing a platform for artists and creatives to nourish projects that sit between creation and performance.
Expressions of interest for 2026 are now closed.
The Ignite & Create Residency offers:
- 14 days exclusive in-kind venue hire for Clocktower Centre Studio space
- In-kind marketing and publicity through Clocktower Centre’s online channels inclusive of a ‘content day’ with our marketing team.
- Support from our specialist performing arts team at Clocktower Centre to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship with Presenters.
- Support throughout the residency from our technical department to assist the development of your project
- The opportunity for you to host a showcase or workshop highlighting the development of your project during your residency.
- Access to arts and culture professional development workshops free of charge, hosted at the venue throughout 2026.
- A consultation session with our community grants team
- The potential for future performance opportunities at Clocktower Centre.
- A venue induction and production meeting in advance of your residency so that you can make the most of your time with us.
