From Sydney to London’s West End to the South African jungle, Rhonda Burchmore has endeared herself to audiences young and old!
With a career spanning over 40 years in cabaret, theatre, television, film and recording – earning her an OAM in 2014 – the vivacious, multi-talented Rhonda Burchmore just keeps going from strength to strength.
Highlights of Rhonda’s dazzling career include performing on London’s West End in Sugar Babies featuring Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller, Stop The World I Want To Get Off with Anthony Newley and opening Crown Casino with her cabaret spectacular Red, Hot & Rhonda, playing to over 60,000 people!
From the 1980s on, Rhonda became a staple of Australian television, with regular performances on long-running variety shows including Hey Hey It’s Saturday, The Don Lane Show, The Mike Walsh Show, Good Morning Australia with Bert Newtown and Spicks and Specks. But in 2020, Rhonda won even more hearts when she appeared on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, placing third.
Rhonda’s cabaret shows include My Funny Valentine, Fever, Everybody Loves Rhonda and Legs 11, while her recording career includes the albums Pure Imagination, Midnight Rendezvous, Live At The Melbourne Concert Hall and A Red Hot Swingin' Christmas.
With so many achievements, we can't wait to see what Rhonda brings to the Clocktower! No doubt, it will be a very red-hot and festive Morning Music finale for 2023. Be sure to join us!
