About the workshop

Join The Australian Ballet Education & Outreach team for a fun and creative week of dancing! Explore warm-ups, dance exercises, and choreographic games, and learn the choreography of a new First Nations-led ballet.

There are two workshops for ages 6-8 and 9-13, with participants attending each of the four days. On the final day, students will get the opportunity to perform to friends and family, along-side a performance by the Australian Ballet Education and Outreach team.

The residency is designed to assist in supporting confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills. It also supports individual needs and skill levels. The program is accessible to all children regardless of learning styles or physical abilities. No previous ballet experience required.

Expect to move, have fun and be creative!
