Long before Madonna, Kylie and Beyonce, there was another female pop star the world came to know by just one name – Dusty.
Wendy Stapleton presents an outstanding tribute to the songs and career of arguably Britain’s greatest female pop singer, Dusty Springfield.
Dusty Springfield enjoyed a music career spanning four decades, thanks to her unique heartbreaking voice, and her unfailing belief in song writers such as Carol King, Gerry Goffin, Randy Newman, John Kander, Burt Bacharach and Hal David, just to name a few.
Wendy starred as Dusty in the original 1995 production of I Only Want To Be With You: The Dusty Springfield Story.
Get ready to join Wendy and her fabulous cast of music theatre singers, dancers and musicians on a colourful journey through all the hits of the 1960s, '70s, '80s and '90s that made Dusty a household name.
Duration: Approximately 60 minutes, no interval
