Welcome back to our new series of jazz and cabaret performances at your local theatre.
Club Clocktower is inspired by the Clocktower’s newly restored 1898 Bechstein grand piano and will take place one Friday evening per month.
Drag provocateur and cabaret queen Peppy Smears is a creative culmination hailing from the worlds of opera, musicals and independent theatre who will make your dad ask questions.
Born in Tasmania, and borne of the drag scene in Melbourne; Peppy draws inspiration from icons such as Annie Lennox and David Bowie with a sprinkling of Elton John. They can often be found on the cabaret and independent theatre circuit, having played the Queen of Hearts in 1930s Berlin inspired immersive piece “Mad World”, and regularly featured as one half of camp-comedy duo Mel & Peppy.
Peppy is a glam-drogynous painted man armed with puns, sass and a touch of crass.

Wine and cheese platters will be available to order from the bar, along with a signature ‘clocktail’.

Club Clocktower is set up as tables for two people. If purchasing odd numbered tickets you may be seated on a table with other patrons.
