The Clocktower is thrilled to be able to welcome patrons back to the theatre in 2021. Here are ways patrons can be COVID safe during their visit.

COVID Safe Information for Clocktower Centre Patrons

To make sure that everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience, things will be a little different when you arrive.

The health and wellbeing of our patrons, artists and staff is important to us. As such we have implemented a number of measures, in line with Victorian Government guidelines, to create a COVID safe environment at the Clocktower Centre. Guidelines for theatres are also subject to change, so please check back for full COVID safe information and any updates closer to your visit.

Booking tickets

We ask that all Theatre tickets & packages are booked over the phone or online to avoid queues at the Box Office. All phone bookings will require a card for payment.

The Box Office will be limiting all cash transactions, except for those patrons unable to pay via card or bank transfer.

All tickets will be held at the Box Office for collection until further notice. Tickets can be collected on the of the event day.

Seating availability & physical distancing

Due to theatre capacity limits at the time of booking, we may not be able to offer your preferred seats and fewer tickets may be available overall. Where possible please maintain physical distancing while in the foyer or queuing.

Proof of Vaccination 

In accordance with the current Vic Government directions, all people aged 12 years and 2 months must have received the double dose of COVID-19 vaccine and provide proof of vaccination or medical exemption upon entering the venue. Under 12 years and 2 months old, do not currently need to be vaccinated, however must be accompanied by fully vaccinated adult/s.

We can only accept the following forms of proof:
• COVID-19 Digital Certificate via the Service Victoria app or saved to your smartphone
• Printed copy of your COVID-19 Digital Certificate
• Printed copy of your Immunisation History Statement with proof of full vaccination

We CANNOT accept a doctors certificate or vaccination appointment card as proof of vaccination.

Contact tracing

All visitors to the Clocktower Centre are required to sign-in digitally on arrival for contact tracing purposes. This can be done using the QR codes at the entrance. Clocktower staff will be available to assist you with signing in if required.

Face masks

It is strongly recommended patrons wear fitted masks, over nose and mouth, while in the Clocktower Centre.

Unwell

Stay home if feeling unwell

Please do not visit the Clocktower Centre if you are feeling unwell, or are required to isolate or quarantine by the Department of Health & Human Services. If your booking is affected, please advise our Box Office as soon as possible so arrangements can be made to exchange your tickets.

Cloak 1

Cloakroom & Bags

We are currently not offering cloakroom facilities so please limit the belongings you bring with you and only bring small bags that you can keep with you while seated in the theatre.

Contactless Payment

Cashless payment is strongly recommended throughout the venue.

Hand Hygiene

Contactless hand-sanitiser stations are available at entrances and throughout the venue. We encourage all patrons to sanitise their hands on arrival.

Cleaning 1

Cleaning

The Clocktower Centre has an enhanced cleaning program with common touch points cleaned at least twice per day. The auditorium and seats are cleaned after every performance.

Ventilation

The air-conditioning within the auditorium is set to bring in 100% fresh outside air to optimise ventilation and airflow within the theatre.

The safety of everyone is important to us. Please ensure that you are familiar with the current Victorian guidelines for attending indoor events. You can view our updated Conditions of Purchase and Conditions of Entry. Closer to each production, all ticket holders will be sent up to date information on the current guidelines.
